Las Vegas Casino In Trouble With Regulators Over Botched Detention

A Downtown Las Vegas casino is in hot water with gaming authorities after employees in the casino arrested a girl for 90 minutes, despite video evidence that demonstrated she had been naive of what she had been accused of.

Last November, security guards in Boyd Gaming’s Fremont Casino arrested a woman who had been gambling on slot machines also maintained she had stolen money from another participant who had been on a nearby machine.

The guards handcuffed her and took her to another holding place where she had been questioned about her “actions,” while waiting for authorities to arrive. After reviewing video footage, supervisors in the casino finally recognized that she was naive and she had been published, but a week, authorities took action.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a four-count complaint against the land for the way the episode was managed, according to a report by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

In a description of this episode, the filing stated that one girl cashed her out by a slot machine then proceeded to redeem her own ticket.
