Ronnie Bardah Becomes Latest Poker Pro To Join Survivor Cast

Ronnie Bardaha poker pro in Massachusetts who famously cashed from the World Series of Poker main event five consecutive occasions, is expecting for another deep run in another contest.

The 36-year-old was chosen as a member of 20 cast members on the most recent period of the CBS reality game show Survivor.

This is now 39 of this popular series, that will see Bardah along with his castmates from the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji for Survivor: Island Of The Idols. The 90-minute season premiere is Sept. 25.

Former cast member ‘Boston’ Rob Mariano will go back to the series, but maybe not as a rival. This time he’ll function as one of those mentors into the remaining players. Mariano has played with a lot of poker with several tiny cashes and almost $150,000 in live tournament earnings. Other notables competing with this year include Olympic swimmer Elizabeth Beisel, and NHL player Tom Laidlaw.

Bardah, who won a WSOP six-max limitation hold’em necklace back in 2012, is just the most recent poker player to compete on the series.

Poker pros Jean-Robert Bellande, Garrett Adelstein, and Anna Khait were contestants. Furthermore, Ilari ‘Zigmund’ Sahamies competed about the Finnish version of the series, whilst celebrity winner Jackie Glazier was about the Australian edition.

Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle beautifully flocked on The Amazing Race. Vanessa Rousso created the top three in Big Brother, as did David Williams on MasterChef.
